STATCOM
STC

STATCOM, acronym for STATic synchronous COMpensator, is a FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System) equipment, composed of inverters, transformers, capacitors, and controls. It is designed to control reactive, capacitive or inductive power.

This equipment can be used to control the power factor and voltage regulation at the connection point and improve the dynamic stability of the electrical system.

ADELCO STATCOM is an inverter device with IGBT's that store DC energy in a capacitor bank to generate a three-phase voltage, thus influencing the stability increase of power electric systems (PES), by improving transient and disturbance characteristics.

This product was developed in partnership with Petrobras and UFRJ in an ANEEL R&D project.

Active filter for Harmonics
FAH

The ACTIVE FILTER is a device capable of injecting into the network, harmonic voltages and currents of the same magnitude in phase opposition in relation to the voltages and currents produced by equipment connected to this network. And thus cancel harmful harmonic voltages and currents.

  • Reduction of overload and resonance risks in capacitor banks and transformers;;
  • Active filtering / voltage unbalance correction;
  • Voltage Change Compensation (VTCD);
  • Resonance elimination.
